Terms of Service

Last updated 14 October 2026

These terms govern your use of orielpress.com and any service, course, book or software you buy from us. Oriel Press is the technology services, training and publishing brand of Oriel Inc., a sole proprietorship owned by Chandra Mani Prasad, registered at 599, 17B, Phase 1, Surat Nagar, Gurugram, Haryana 122001, India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Oriel Press" mean Oriel Inc.; "you" means the person using the site or buying from us.

By using this site or paying us for anything, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What we provide

We offer three kinds of product and service:

Training programmes

When you buy a seat in a training programme, you get access for one person only. Login details, class links and group invitations are personal to you and must not be shared, resold or posted publicly. We may remove you from a programme without refund if you share access.

Classes run live at the times published on the programme page. We may change a session time or date where we have to, and we will tell you in advance through the programme's communication group. Missing a live session does not entitle you to a refund.

Training is educational. You are responsible for anything you build, and for any hosting, domain, API or third-party costs you take on. Those costs are yours and are not included in the programme fee unless the programme page says otherwise.

Development services

Work begins after a written scope is agreed and the advance payment is received. Unless your written agreement says otherwise, an advance of 50% of the project value is payable before work starts, and the balance before final delivery or deployment.

Each deliverable includes up to two rounds of revision within the agreed scope. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted and charged separately.

We hand over the agreed source code and assets on final payment. Until final payment is received, all work product remains our property.

Books and digital products

When you buy a book, you get the files named on its product page. We send them to the email address you give at checkout.

Your copy is for one reader. You may keep it on your own devices and print it for your own use. You may not share, resell, upload or republish the files, or large parts of them. Short quotations with credit are welcome.

If you need copies for a team, write to us and we will arrange them.

Where a product page promises a free update, we send it to the email address used for the purchase.

Our books are educational. They describe what we found and what the evidence showed when they were written. They do not guarantee rankings, citations, traffic, sales or any other result.

Automation packs and workflow files

When you buy an automation pack, you get the workflow files, sample sheets and guide named on its product page. We give you a download page and send its link to the email address you give at checkout.

The licence is for you, or for the one business you buy it for. You may use the files in that business and set them up for any number of your clients, including as paid work. You may change them to suit a client. You may not resell, share, upload or republish the files themselves, changed or unchanged, or offer them as a template product of your own.

The files are tools that you set up yourself. They need software and accounts from other companies, such as n8n, Google and Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, which you arrange and pay for. Whether Meta approves a message template, and whether a message is delivered, is outside our control.

You, and the business you set the files up for, are responsible for how they are used: for having each person's consent before messaging them, for following WhatsApp's and Meta's rules, and for the laws and professional rules that apply to that business. Notes in a pack about a profession's rules are there to help and are not legal advice.

Each pack's test report says what was tested and what was not. We do not promise any business result. If we correct a fault in a file, we send the corrected file to the email address used for the purchase.

Payments

Each product page shows its price and currency. Services and courses are priced in Indian Rupees. Books are priced in US dollars, and in Indian Rupees including GST for buyers in India. Automation packs are priced in Indian Rupees including GST for buyers in India, and in US dollars elsewhere. Any tax that applies is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment partners. The partner used for your purchase is named at checkout. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or netbanking credentials.

When you pay for a book or an automation pack by card outside India, the sale is made through Dodo Payments, which acts as our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Dodo Payments takes the payment, handles any sales tax due where you live, sends your receipt and appears on your card statement. Its Buyer Terms apply to that payment alongside these terms. We remain responsible for the book itself, for delivering it and for answering your questions.

If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend access until it is settled.

Refunds

Refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your responsibilities

Intellectual property

Course material, books, workflow files, written content, designs, and our own tooling and frameworks remain ours. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use course material for your own learning. Whatever you yourself build during a programme is yours.

Third-party services

Our services depend on third parties — hosting providers, payment gateways, AI and messaging platforms, and video conferencing. Their availability is outside our control, and we are not responsible for their outages, pricing changes or policy changes.

Limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee any particular business outcome, job, income or result from a course or a piece of software.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if a payment is not settled, or if we are required to by law. Where we end a service without cause, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies to your purchase from the date shown above. Material changes will be notified on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Grievances

For any complaint, write to our grievance contact, Chandra Mani Prasad, at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days.
